Goofy bolted out the front door
He decided he wanted to bust out the front door when i opened the screen
door. Then he came back 2 minutes later poked around then decided to come in when i opened the door. After that he sat in the kitchen by the back door wanting to go out 3 minutes after coming in the front door. Any readers here have cats that cant make up there mind? in or out? I'm expecting him to stay outside for shorter times as the weather gets colder and colder http://www.ferrari-dvd.com/imagesGOO...hosoutside.jpg |

I also remember when Yoda would back up away from the (open) front door when it was raining, and then go to the back door and ask out. Like it wasn't raining in the *back* yard. |

The crime novelist John D. MacDonald wrote a captivating book about his various pets, primarily two cats that he had for years. In it he tells of the time one of them pulled this off. Storms in Florida can sometimes have sharply defined squall lines, going from full on to not a drop in just a few yards. One day one of MacDonald's cats asked out the front door and found it pouring out there. So, as he had done untold times before, he asked out the back door. MacDonald was in the middle of his usual "Why do we have to do this every time" speech as he swung the back door open -- and found the grass not even wet. As the cat marched out the door he looked over his shoulder with a disdainful look that clearly said, "Oh, ye of little faith!" -- Wayne M. |
