Oh Rebecca, please don't worry about the loudness of your purr. My Punkins,
RB had the quietest of purrs, you almost couldn't hear her at all and could
just feel the vibration. She was a member in excellent standing of the
Purring Cats Club and every one of her purrs was just as valuable as a cat
that has more volume.

You are, as always, absopurrlutely correct, OT. It is da sincerity of da
purr dat matters, not da volume.

Well, it didn't work out this time but we're still not giving up hope.

Paw and Meowmie set a trap out by the nursing home and caught the kitty.
It was smaller than Tabitha, it's face was the wrong shape, and the fur
was too short and didn't have Tabitha's brown overtones. She had been
hanging around the nursing home for a while, so she must have a home
(maybe with humans, maybe not) nearby. Since it wasn't a newcomer to the
area and appeared to be well fed Paw just let it out of the trap.

We're still keeping our fingers and claws crossed, and we now have a
bunch of nurses from the nursing home also keeping eyes open for Miss
Tabitha.
