However, homicide stats are available
(http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/rds/pdfs/hosb601.pdf): Oslo 2 homicides
per 100,000 people, Washington DC 51, NY 9, Sydney 2, Ottawa 1,
Canberra 1.

I suppose NY is a bigger city than Sydney, Ottawa, and Canberra put together?
Washington DC is fraught w/ problems and no wonder, it's a "federal city" run
by the Federal Government. That gives you an idea of how big government
(socialism) mucks things up.

Population makes no difference. China, India and Pakistan have more
people than the rest of the world and less crime than the USA alone.
Isn´t Newark the most violent city in the USA? Isn´t Chicago worse
than Wash. DC? This is what I heard the last time I was there seven
years ago.

The "poor" in this country are richer than 99% of the poor in other countries.
Most people who are poor in this country remain that way because they don't or
won't take the opportunities that this country grants them. We have the
freedom and liberty (mostly) to make it or break it here.

I don$B!-(Bt think you have been to Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama, etc.

So, if socialism is not a nirvana, I don$B!-(Bt know what is.

Freedom and liberty is. Once you've lived it you'll never go back.

You still did not understand that socialism does not mean lack of
freedom, right? Again, socialism and communism are *not* the same
thing.

No...no he doesn't. If you feed both cats the proper number of
calories
in the form of a species-appropriate diet, both will thrive.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. You take 2 cats. One
is healthy, the other is not.

Are you saying that all obese cats are not healthy?

(And apparently, all ferals ARE healthy.)

Obesity is a recognized health issue so it hardly stands that one can
be obese and healthy.
