Default Purrs for a Missing D*g

I'd like to ask purrs for a celebrated dog, who is missing.

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/02/16/missing.dog/index.html

Bohem C'est La Vie, a whippet who won an Award of Merit in the Breed
competition at this week's Westminster Dog Show. But a funny thing
happened on her way home to California - she escaped from her travel
kennel at JFK airport Wednesday afternoon.

The airport grounds have been searched twice, she *was* seen in the
marshland area surrounding the airport, but no one was able to catch
her. A reward has been announced, and airport authorities will keep
their eyes peeled, but the search has been called off. And now cold
weather is moving back in.

So purrs for this dog to be safe, and end up safely home sometime
soon!

Thanks Jeanne. I've been very concerned about this dog. The poor thing
must be cold, hungry and very scared. I really, really pray this story
has a happy ending. vvvvvvvvvvvcc
I imagine a Greyhound that doesn't want to be caught, well, there's
just no way you could catch her.
I enjoyed that dog show so much. I was home alone and watched both
nights. It made me want another dog. I would sure like to have a German
Shephard or GS mix. I have awful luck with dogs; I guess I don't have
any business even thinking about it. My dog Happy was killed by a car,
and the one I got before that (Dottie) in 2000 died on the table when I
had her spayed.

I hate to think of that dog out in a New York winter. Let's
hope someone can get a hold of her soon.

I hadn't heard about this, I am surprised that my friend June hasn't phoned
to tell me. The international community of show whippet breeders are
usually aware of what's happening. What a tragedy. Sighthounds are
notoriously very difficult to catch if they escape and panic.
Champion Bohem C'est La Vie was bred by Bo Bengtson and I think she is now
owned by someone called Jill. I forget her last name.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Bo Bengtson on a few occasions and he has
judged my dogs twice in England.

Lots of purrs. Whippets have almost no subcutaneous fat, they feel the cold
terribly. That's why they have to be clothed in bad weather. I am very
afraid for this dog. If anyone hears anything would you update me on here
please?

Thanks

There are several articles (with more or less info) on various news
sites on the net. Here's the article I originally saw from Wednesday
on CNN.com:
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/02/15/mis....ap/index.html

The owners are Jill Walton and Paul Lepiane (who have offered a
reward), Ch. Bohem C'est La Vie answers to the name Vivi.

We've been sending purrs for this poor girl. No news reported yet.
It's really getting cold again, too. She must have been so scared
to be chased by not only strangers on foot, but by people in cars,
too. She's a beautiful dog and I loved seeing her on TV in the
dog show. Purrs for her to have many more shows, or at least to be
reunited with her hoomins.
