Default BIG SNOW COMING

For the UK tomorrow so i went out and got all we needed.
Boyfie and myself will be fine for weeks for food.
I got myself a new calor gas bottle for the little heater I have in case my
wood runs out.
We will be Ok.
It's a bit nippy here.
Boyfie has discovered that I put the fire on in the kitchen when it gets -5
or more.
It's horribly cold here.
We are expecting a foot of snow overnight, but we are prepared ;-)
How lucky I am not to have to go to work..as they would 've deducted my pay
if I did not chance it.
Now I just plough my way down the garden to feed the chickens.
Boyfie always wants to skip his breakfast to "help" feed the chickens.
After that, he is very hungry.
How nice to help your meowmie with chores and then both get your breakfasts
afterwards, like a reward.

Yikes! I just finished (in another newsgroup) a post from a friend in
Sydney, where it was 102 today! I won't mention the weather here, except to
say that I'm very grateful to live in Southern California.

Our weather forecasters are usually right. I'm expecting to get up tomorrow
to a foot of it. 12 inches.
It's already snowing.

Well, it IS summer in Australia!

After weeks of below normal, and even record low temps,
it was nice to get back normal and even above normal temps,
and especially on a day when I needed to go out and do things.

To reply by email, lose the Ks...

Yes, it is summer in Australia. However, apparently the temperature in
Sydney I mentioned was for this morning. The high was 114.6 F - a new
record for Sydney. There's summer, and then there's HOT! I'm glad the
weather was much cooler when we were in Sydney last October.

I'm enjoying the warmer weather, too.

And I'm grateful to live in South Carolina! I *will* mention the
weather. (Heh.) It was a balmy 75F/24C yesterday. It did get very,
very windy in the late afternoon and into the evening. At dusk the wind
blowing through the Spanish moss looks delightfully creepy

I felt a little bad for Lynn. She'd gone to a lot of trouble to rake
the leaves in her yard into a neat little pile. She hadn't yet bagged
them. That pile is no longer neat (or even a pile, for that matter).

Tweed, stay warm!

Except for the Spanish moss, your weather was almost identical to ours.
We're enjoying the warmer weather, because we just had a week-long cold
spell (for here).

Considering the extremes of weather all over the world, I simply cannot
understand how ANYONE can refuse to believe in the reality of "Climate
Change"!
