Default Hey there folks....bringing back the SS Mouser

Hey there folks,

I know I've been away from the NG for a long time, but I am still surviving and plugging along as best as I can. I'm in between vet clinics at the moments and now have an addition troublemaker in addition to Imp, Mischief and Mayhem. In the summer of 2011, a small little 10 oz ball of fluff came into my life, and his name is Trouble.

Recently I've gotten back into fiction writing and have decided to revisit the SS Mouser Tales about the cats and Captain Pine Cone. I've decided to write a novel based on the stories I've written in the past and some of you may remember some of your cats were characters.

I have the crew list almost finalized but there were other past character cats that I would like to get in touch with their hoomin owners to receive permission to use their cats names.

Cats and Hoomins I'm looking for....

Theresa with Dante and Stinky
Jill McQuown with Persia
Helen with Waffles?

If these folks can email me at or firekrys at gmail I would greatly appreciate it

And if anyone else would like to see their cat added to the crew Roster of the SS Mouser or at least a character in the novel, please feel free to let me know. I may not be able to list all of them, but they might get a quick mention.

Thanks again and hope to hear from you folks,

Hugs,

Kristi

Glad hear from you again, Kristi. Theresa and Dante and Helen & Waffles
don't post here any more, but Jill & Persia do.
Boyfriend would like to be included on the next voyage (he's been before.)
He will be an uncle to the younger members as he is kind - but he would like
a dual role as a food tester. 25 per cent uncle, 75 per cent food tester
would be preferred..

Persia would be more than happy to have Boyfriend be a taste-tester...
as long as he leaves enough for the other cats to eat!

It's lovely to have you back.

Sootie would like to be head mouser.

Judith

I'm not sure she's "back". I sent Kristi an email, as requested, to the
link she posted. I didn't even get the courtesy of a reply.

It was the same day she posted this. She made it sound like I'd
disappeared. Theresa and Helen have vanished but I'm still a very
active poster. True, some people let days go by before checking email.
She said herself she's between jobs right now so I figured she'd check
and reply.

There is always the possibility that it got dumped into her spam folder.
I noticed she has gmail - and I've noticed that gmail sometimes dumps
mail that I *want* to receive into the spam folder, and I have to
manually remove them from the junk list. Usually it's from places that
I've subscribed to, like Kim Komando or a needlework group, someplace
that sends out multiple messages per day.

Why are your cats all given such unflattering names? Name the next one
something like Sweetikins or Preciousdarling.

Can't guarantee that.

Maybe she was out, looking for another job. It's not reasonable to expect
an instant reply.
