Default Pet Grass questions

I'm looking for something to grow for birds to eat. Grass seems
like a good thing, but I've been led to believe most grass won't
grow well unless it has a lot of light. The pet grass seems to do
very well under normal indoor lighting, but how would it be to
make it available for finches, does anyone know?

Thanks!
David

I Googled up this: http://www.petspantry.tv/acatalog/finch-food.html

But you could also go to Wall Mart and look at the labels in their bags of
Finch food bird seed....Or, just buy a small package and plant it in your
garden.........

Why are you only posting this to dog and cat
newsgroups? (and agri....but at least that
one makes *some* sense)
