(OT) I'm just SOOOOOO happy

I know this is SO off topic but I watched the Kentucky Derby and oh man
Smarty Jones is a legend now. I don't know if anyone else follows the game
but this was indeed memorable by any standard. Can Smarty be an honorary
cat?

This is a case of truth is BETTER than fiction!!! When I saw him win the
Rebel, I thought, oh my. But still I couldn't believe that it would turn out
THIS GOOD! A blue collar PA bred horse with an exciting history, filled with
all kinds of karma including comebacks from a serious injury and the tragic
domestic violent murder of his first trainer (who hand picked both his sire
and dam) and he shares the birthday of his new trainers mother. Oooo. It was
just a great day. He is just like the little engine that could.

LOL; I assume Smarty Jones is a horse and not his jockey. I am always glad
they finish big bucks races like that without breaking any of their skinny
little legs (that goes for both men and beasts). Not much into equines
anyway, I prefer the fat hairy ones with big legs and feet that pull beer
wagons; for some reason they look healthier and calmer, if not faster and
prettier. But kowabunga, congrats to Smarty Jones; may he live long and
prosper.
