I started a round of the neighbours half an hour ago. I had seen
Maurice, the man across the road, go out yesterday afternoon and I knew
he didn't come home until later that evening. I figured that Clyde might
be in his garage. He wasn't. However there is a small woodshed at
the back of the garage with about an eight inch gap in the top of the
high wooden door. We agreed he wouldn't be in there but after I walked
off Maurice thought again. He listened. Meow, Meow. He unlocked
the shed and out bounced Clyde!!!! Got in but couldn't get out!!!
Maurice shouted for me to come back and showed me Clyde sitting in the
dahlia bushes. I nearly kissed the man er er but not quite.

You should have seen the Bonnie and Clyde reunion. Have you ever seen
a cat smile? Bonnie covered him with kisses and then bit his bum in
revenge for giving her such a fright, rofl.

Thank you for the thoughts and purrs - this time they worked.

I'm glad they were found. Did Bonnie go into the shed too looking for
Clyde?

Thank all that's good - I don't think I could have taken any more bad news
at this time of year. Thank Bonnie for me for (literally) chewing his @$$
out! ;

Ah, Bonnie had sneaked back into the house after her abortive attempt to
find Clyde. She had got into a bed and pulled the covers over
herself. Clyde wasn't a bit chastened after his experience - acted as
if he got himself locked in a woodshed every day and it was no big
deal. When I went to pat him he lovingly grabbed my hand and sunk his
teeth and claws in - I didn't even mind mopping up the blood. It was a
small price to pay.

Ahh. I didn't read far enough to find out that Bonnie had come home. I
think Clyde just did the ultimate ******* cat trick.

That is great news!

It was great getting up this morning and finding the pair bookended as
usual. There wasn't a peep out of Bonnie last night - guess she was
all tired out after a night of screaming for Clyde. I don't think FSP
even noticed Clyde had gone, if she did she probably felt relief as he
regularly jumps on her head or chases her noisily through the house.

Clyde has turned into a big very strong cat and I don't think he
realises his own strength. Bonnie often lets out a shriek of pain when
he jumps on her with full force.

Probably not the ultimate, Clyde is young enough to come up with plenty
of new tricks. Some of them may be worse. ;-0

Being slightly behind in reading RPCA - went to Orlando for ten days
and have never caught up - I have only just read that Clyde was missing.
I am so pleased he was found - for me, a mere three minutes later! Phew!
