Steve Touchstone had some very interesting
things to say about Whimper--UPDATE:

Just a little side note, so often we see someone post about their
former feral/stray/dumped kitty. I often wonder how many of the cats
I'm reading about picked their own forever home and decided to move
in, instead of the hoomin deciding they needed a cat and went looking
for one.

It's happened to me a couple of times (such as the time a kitten
really did follow me home after I petted him or the time my
grandfather found a kitten huddled in a plant near the porch on a cold
wet day).

And I haven't enough sent the purr message from the first post yet

;-)
Oh well, purrs that he forgives you as soon as you get him home,
completely recovers in record time, and becomes the perfectly happy
cat he should be in his forever home.

Oh, I wasn't looking for another inside kitty (I had 3 already). I've
been feeding the outsiders (I call 'em externals) since we had a couple
pass under our house because they were starved.

He just had the most beautiful eyes (okay, CatNipped, he's got nuthin'
on Bandit!) I'd ever seen. I used to have a Chocolate Siamese
(Nicodemus/Nikki RB) that was given to me when her former slave went
into a nursing home (he was neighbor), and though she had beautiful
eyes, nothing like his...

So, both he and Li'l Bit (who we are considering renaming EB - Elevator
Butt) decided that we were okay hoomins, and they both moved into about
the same time (and she's never been an indoor kitty, but not remotely
interested in the outside anymore).

Smokie Darling (Annie) - and they both have such lovey purrsonalities.

Smokie Darling (Annie) - all that worry (about health concerns) for
naught.

Yeah! Give him a bunch of scritches for me, okay?

Might also be why he is so naughty. Drugs do wierd things. Hope he is much
more calm tomorrow. Maybe he just needs a little quiet room for tonight.
Hope to hear he is much better tomorrow at this time.

Nah, he just didn' thave an opportunity for sufficient badness at the
vet's so he saved up.

Shhh, I am convinced he knows how to read, honestly. I don't want him
getting any ideas.

Quite a few of them I suspect, cats can see a good slave coming!

My father's extremely old cat used to be a tiny kitten who was
apparently dumped in our neighborhood (very out-in-the-country),
so he picked our house and just walked in one morning when my
father opened the door to let the other cat in. This tiny
black-and-white kitten just strolled in, and stayed. Forever.
