Default Persia and the Pistachio Nuts

I bought a bag of (non-dyed) pistachio nuts and have been snacking on them.
Persia was sniffing at the bag, crying, whining, fussing. So I gave her a
shelled pistachio. She licked at it, pretended to chew on it, spit it out
and left it on the carpet. Now she's whining at the bag again. What does
she want from me?! I can't make the pistachios into something she wants to
eat just because I like them! Sometimes this cat is a real trial

Lindy is a bit like that. Every time I go to the kitchen, she begs for
a snack or treat. Then, 90% of the time when I do give her something,
she rejects it. She developed a habit of begging wildly for turkey.
I'd give her a few bits and she'd devour them. Then one day, she did
her begging trick and she never touched what I gave her. Cats!

Vino does that. He begs for nuts and then never eats them. Oh well, at
least he eats the canned corn, chickpeas and kidney beans!

Hmmm, I eat all of those things, too. In fact, I make a soup out of them.
Now I know what I'm making for dinner tomorrow!
