Default Holly the lap cat

I thought Holly and Duffy didn't have any reaction to the hurricane (except
for one incident several hours *before* the winds hit, when Duffy suddenly
ran to me and rested with his head pressed hard against my chin and cheek --
and remained that way for a considerable period of time). Well, I was
wrong. It now seems that the hurricane did have some lingering effect (or
it may be coincidence, in which case I am reading too much into it). Ever
since the hurricane (and the two days I spent away from home), Holly has
become much more of a lap cat. Each evening, she gets in my lap, puts her
hind legs on my legs and her front legs up to my neck, and cuddles against
me. Duffy has always done this, but Holly was always (until now) more
independent than that. On the other hand, Holly has *always* wanted to be in
the same room and very close to me. As soon as I get up, she will also get
up and follow. And, of course, she is convinced that she *must* help me with
the computer -- she walks back and forth/back and forth/etc. in front of the
computer screen whenever I use it.

That's so sweet to get cuddles, cheek to cheek. Now for some dancing.
