Snoopy update

I've just rung the vet, Snoopy had two teeth out and she's coming round
from the anaesthetic. I can pick her up in two hours. She will be on a
course of antibiotics and I will ask about pain medication when I pick
her up.

Purrs that all goes well. It may be that the bad teeth were part of
the reason for her recent downturn and now she will perk up. So mite
it be.

Hopefully it was only the two bad teeth that had her feeling so down (I know
it does it for me!). Purrs that, now that they are gone, she'll be back to
her old self in no time.

Oh, thank goodness, I've been really worried. Anaesthetic is a scary thing
for these real oldies, but there are much safer ones for them now. Phew..
If you have a blender, whizz up some cooked chicken into a puree to get her
interested again, she can lap it up while her gums heal. Or if she will
consider raw mince, crush in your hands to make it a mush.

Glad she did so well with the anesthetic! Hopefully, those teeth coming out
