Although Kami has adapted extraorinarily well to the new temporary
digs, her sleeping habits have changed. I have her fleecy bed on the
sofa and her teepee on the bed, but at night, she sleeps on the floor.
I only found this out by stepping on her getting up in the middle of
the night to potty.

I thought maybe she had barfed or accidentally dropped a poo in her
teepee, where she had been sleeping, but she sleeps there all day... at
least I think so. That's where she is when I leave and where she is
when I get home. It's just at night she is sleeping on the floor.

There is only one thing I can figure for the behavior, and that is that
I sleep with a fan on all night for "white noise." I brought a small
fan with me to SoCal and the spot she's sleeping in is practically in
front of it. Maybe she likes the breeze?

Except for in the very coldest weather, I also keep a fan running for white
noise when I sleep. During the winter, I use a humidifier that sits on the
floor. The fan is on a table by my bed, and Otto likes to lay on the corner
of the bed directly in front of it. I've also caught him on the floor by
the humidifier. I used to have another small fan in the living room on an
end table, and Otto would plant himself down in front of that, too. It
seems strange to me that he'd like moving air, but he does.
