Hen talk (not OT)
Okay, okay...
Getting used to the variety of sounds made by a chicken. But until I got a couple of ex-batts, I never realised that chickens purr. They can make a noise that is just like a cat's purr, but a bit higher pitched. So what's that one mean then? Have I got a couple of hens that think they are cats? Has Francis been giving them lessons in how to talk in a more acceptable language? He spent quite some time sunning himself, stretched out, baring his belly to the air, alongside the chicken run yesterday. |

chicken like many birds can and do mimic, my sister raises chickens and it
