Kristi http://apps.facebook.com/mousehunt/ MouseHunt quite addictive, and you can only sound the horn every 15 minutes, but the traps are pretty funny. I went from a tension-spring to a Spiked crusher to a Mouse Mary O Nette to a Mouse trebuchet and now I have a Swiss Army Mouse trap. muhahahahaha! Kristi |

(Of course that fact doesn't seem to faze me on rpca, ha!) So I kind of abandoned it. Maybe I'll pick it back up at the end of the month when I have a zillion photos of the first grandchild :-) Sherry |

That's the kind of thing I'm talking about, Christine. I don't want people sending me messages all the time (or sending me hugs). Seems like a teenager-type thing to me. Given the example of your niece, I'd say we're spot on. Jill |

Given the example of your niece, I'd say we're spot on. Jill One doesn't necessarily send others messages, one simply posts it on one's "wall", and the friends can read it. I believe one can cut down on what kind of news feed one sees from one's friends too. It's not like you have to actively read a message with the wall news feed, you can just skim over it and comment if you feel like it. And one can always ignore the hugs/flowers/drinks/etc. that are sent without hurting the feelings of the sender. Or I've also let some friends know that I'm not into this or that that they're sending. -- Christine in Finland christal63 (at) gmail (dot) com |

If anything, you're probably *too* interesting for Facebook. It doesn't strike me as the kind of environment for any substantial discussion. I get the feeling that it has more of a Twitter- like mentality (another net phenomenon I can't get into), where you can read all sorts of silly little blurbs of non-esssential news, such as what someone just had for lunch. I don't need all that clutter, thanks! Joyce -- The average, healthy, well-adjusted adult gets up at seven-thirty in the morning feeling just terrible. -- Jean Kerr |

I feel like an indentured servant to Blizzard sometimes. Hehehehe. When I'm fiddling with Auctioneer and the Yowlet comes over to watch, he says I'm doing 'work' to 'get gold for Daddy'. Damn, its bad enough in RL but I do it as a hobby as well??? Yowie |
