Get your cat to a vet immediately. Antifreeze is toxic and will kill the
cat.

I noticed our cat has been drinking anti-freeze off the garage floor and
seems to like it. I can't imagine this is healthy, but is there something
you can give it to clean it out of their system?

Is this for real, or are you trolling? Trolling, is my guess.

Antifreeze is toxic! It is poisonous to cats!! If you really have
witnessed this (that is, if the cat was actually drinking and not just
investigating), it's remarkable that your cat is still alive.

snip

IIRC, BigDaddy is a troll. He's the one who posted about his gf's cat and
then posted about all the useless replies (in a thread entitled "Useless
Replies," no less). If he's not a troll, he's definitely not the

brightest
(or most refined) brick on the block.

Ah, yes; thank you. I knew the user name was familiar, but couldn't
remember in what context.

Yes, I remembered that thread and knew that this could be a troll,
especially with a message about a cat licking antifreeze. I just didn't
want to take any risks, *in case* this could be legitimate -- in which

case,
there would be no time to waste before taking action.

Thanks,
MaryL

I ignored him too, thinking yeah sure, it's a well known and publicized fact
that antifreeze is toxic to both cats and dogs. God alone knows why like it!
But since I was a KID I've heard it and seen posters, and such.
Anyway, Mary, I was so GLAD you did not ignore it! Those numbers you gave
are invaluable
You're just a fount of kitty info
Thank you so much for posting them. I put two in my cell phone directory!

Thanks again!
Hailey

Thanks! You just made my day (if not my week).
