Default Sandy Update

Thank you all kindly for helping Sandy with your purrs and good
wishes. I had to go out yesterday afternoon and when I returned, she
seemed to be better. The vet found she had a fever, was dehydrated,
and is anemic. Antibiotic for the fever; IV to hydrate her; anemia,
questionable. My son, who took her to the vet, is a bit vague, said
her bones are producing "immature" blood cells. Well, what do we do
about that? "I don't know." What caused the vomiting? "I don't
know." She's going on 11 years old and is already on a K/D diet; do
we add liver or beef which may negate the K/D? "I don't know." No.2
son suggested giving her Co Q-10, which we're giving the cats, but I'd
have to check with the vet first. SO when the vet opens this
morning, I'm going to call and try to learn what's really going on.
I'm almost as ignorant now as before she was checked out. Anyway,
thanks for your helpful purrs and good thoughts.

Please keep us posted. Continuing to send healing purrs. I hope the vet has
a few more answers than the son did!
