Default cat bait

can one use a bait with added tranqualizer or poisen to catch/dispose of
wild cats that
are killing the wildlife on our property?

How would you recommend to do this?

thank you

I don't recommend it, because some of the wildlife might eat the bait and
get poisoned. You're really playing with fire there.

Get in touch with your local humane society or animal rescue group and ask
about TNR (trap-neuter-release) programs. That is, the rescue group traps
each feral cat in a humane trap, has them spayed or neutered, and if they
can't be rehabilitated, releases them back into the wild. It's a lot more
humane than poisoning the animals and letting them die a slow, painful
death.
