DH and Tiger

DH: is a rather reserved sort, he is warm to those he knows and loves, but
even with animals is always given to a period of contemplation before being
generally affectionate towards them.

Tiger: a generally nurotic cat from his earlier life, as nurotic as any
hoomin woody allen could portray and as talkative as jackie mason...

so: Tiger was up on the kitty buffett talking/eating at his regularily
scheduled hourly food session... DH walks by, Tiger begnan telling him how
the food on offer was substandard... DH: "yes I know bud, we sucked you
into the house with the beta version... just like that heaven and hell joke"
tiger grumbled in agreement longing for the days of canned junk food and
continued eating.

Charlie has conversations like that with Jake. Good thing too, as
no one else around here listens to either one of them.
