She's unlikely to have a microchip if she was previously feral but if she
does she will have to be returned to her previous owner. My bet is she
doesn't have one. Boyfie is microchipped and he now has a tag on his collar
on that says so. Just in case.
It's always a good idea to have them microchipped. I learned that the hard
way.

Since her ear is tipped, my guess is that she was she was captured, checked
for a chip, then when none was found, put under and was spayed and had her
ear tipped.

When she was recovering, they may have noticed that she was too friendly to
put in a feral colony, and was selected to adopt out. At that time, they
may have chipped her, with the chip temporarily registered by the rescue
organization, like many shelter cats are.
