Default I bought used pillow cases!!

It's time to get the flannel sheets out. My two Siamese love to sleep on
the pillow next to me, so I went to eBay with hopes of someone selling used
sheets. I really didn't think I'd find what I was looking for... I mean,
after all, who buys used sheets?? (Ewww!!) Boy, did I ever hit the
jackpot. Two used flannel pillow cases that are checkered blue and brown.
The colors on my comforter are blue, brown, taupe and white!! The seller
even contacted me to *confirm* that I knew they were used b/c he had sold
them once, and the buyer returned them not knowing they were used.

Hence, now my meezers are happy on the warm flannel pillow case, and we're
all color coordinated!! (Pillow cases were $3.00)!!

Excellent! I don't quite get the problem with used sheets. I admit I've
always bought new ones, but if I were to buy used ones, I'd just put them
in the wash, extra hot, and maybe rinse with bleach for good measure. I
don't think many nasties are going to survive that. Anyway, not only did
you get comfy flannel for the furballs to sleep on, but color-coordinated
is an extra bonus.

I've bought used sheets. Mostly to re-use the fabric in something else,
but I also spotted a really cozy 100% knit cotton sheet in my
favourite colour that I couldn't resist and bought to use on my bed.
Sheets are *intended* to be laundered well between use, and can take
whatever is necessary to get them properly clean.

Hotel sheets are always used and always (well, in respectable hotels,
anyway!) clean.

Well if I stay in a hotel/motel I certainly don't expect *new* sheets for
every guest, just clean ones.

Glad the beautiful meezers are warm and comfy! I wish a trip to Ebay
were all it took with my little brood. Sabrina and China-Doll have
been at war lately over yarn. Specifically, the yarn involved in
constructing myself a poncho. Trying, anyway. Typically I'll be
hooking away at my panel, which is a bit long, and the Old Woman will
claim the end (draped on the bed beside me) and let the world know
with a firm, loud meow that she claims this yarn in the name of Mars.
I will pick up my Sabrina, give her a "high hug" which is lifting her
high above my head, and set her down. In the meantime, China will
softly claim THIS yarn in the name of the Earth, declariing her intent
with her ever present purr, and Sabrina will say an unprintable cat
word. I will lift the Little White Thing in a high hug, and in the
meantime...

I have been working on this poncho for two months, and have not yet
finished the first of two panels. I expect it ready sometime around
Easter.

Blessed be,
Baha

Did I ever tell you what a good writer you are? I really enjoy your

Just in time to send it to someone in Australia.
