Hi Zorin, I once bought one of those things for my
Grand-Daughter, they're very cute Jean P. Zorin the Lynx wrote in message ... So at the hamfest (amateur radio convention thing), this lady was selling "Weazel Balls", which are these motorized ball toys with a weasel-like fluffy thing attached via a nylon cord. When turned on, they roll about on the floor, the weasel-like thing flipping and looking like its chasing the ball. "Perfect cat toy!", I thought. So I plunked down the $6 for it and brought it home, shoved in a AA battery, and let it loose on the floor. The result was HILARIOUS. Lynxie didn't know what to make of it at first, but then he got close to it to try to smell it and it suddenly flipped in his direction and whapped him on the nose. He jumped back like four feet! He then stared at it and it flipped its way around into the hallway, where he went after it, again staying back a bit. Once again it rolled towards him, and he JUMPED right over it! Maybe two feet nearly straight into the air! He then went and hid behind a wall and STARED at it as it did its thing, bumping into walls with the weasel-thing flipping around. I expected him to run and pounce after it, but his expression of shock and the way he moved out of the way of the thing ended up being that much funnier. I have a feeling he'll be bored of it before the first battery is fully discharged, though... } -Z |
