Can't forget and won't forget. Lost too many people on that senseless,
tragic day. 295 colleagues from the company I worked for at the time, about
30 of whom I knew personally.

Oh, I couldn't. My brother and I watched the towers built as children, and
I see where they were, every day. It was the day of a mayoral primary and I
was getting ready to vote. My radio station originates in lower Manhattan,
and it was their employees who noticed the low-flying plane and said "That's
weird." I turned on the TV in time to see the plane go into the tower.
When I saw the towers go down--and thought-- Oh my God, all those
people!!!-- well, that's a thing that takes a very long time to wrap your
mind around.
