I use the Arm and Hammer clumping type. Not too dusty, a box lasts my
one cat for weeks, I never have an odor problem. I won't mess with success - he has never refused to use it. about the cat sitting in it: are you maybe putting too much in the box? I keep mine about and inch and a half deep. val |

Then I use a twist tie to close up one end and that's how I get a litterbox liner and the Swheat Scoop doesn't stick. Then when I change the box, I turn the bag inside out while carefully pulling out the litterbox and then just toss the garbage bag. Don't your cats' claws put holes in the bags? Amazingly they don't. They did when I tried those regular litterbox liners but not with the heavy duty garbage bags I get from the hardware store. How do you like that? I had been using Scoop Away, but since Kami was diagnosed with asthma, I stopped because it was dusty and the fragrance would aggravate her. I tried Arm * Hammer, but it's not much different even though there's no fragrance. The thing with her tear ducts started after that so then I switched to PaPurr. It seems to have fragrance, too, but it's definitely not as dusty and she hasn't had a coughing fit for a while (though the tear ducts things is off and on). The only other one I see consistently available with Swheat Scoop. All I would need then if for her to develop a wheat allergy. LOL! I switched to sWheat scoop because of Seamus's asthma, but found it to be a lot more dusty than I hoped, plus both cats just thought it was one big snack bowl. I switched to scoop away (unscented) and found that to also be a bit dusty, and slightly scented. Just bought some new boxes last week and they must have changed the formula. It now seems to have no dust at all, the particles are just a tad bit bigger, so even less tracking, and there is absolutely no odor at all. Nice surprise. just thought I would mention it, Teri |

Mine shred the liners something awful. I tried garbage bags too, but finally just gave up using liners. It's Bootsie. She claws *everything* to cover up, especiallly the sides of the pan, and even the wall. Sherry |
