Dumped Kittens, Dumped Mama
There's a cat outside that looks remarkably like the fuzzy gray kittens. Except
she is very wild and won't let me close to her. I think it's the mama. Except the kittens are so tame! Maybe she is tame too and just afraid. |

Is there any way you could "show" her the kittens, and see how she reacts?

Unfortunately no. She bolted and ran off as soon as I opened the door and disappeared off into the thickets. I guess I'll leave food out and see what happens. Or beg/buy a trap. I really hate to do that because between the raccoons, armadillos, skunks, opossums, I'll be half afraid to check it. Sherry |

Best of luck with the cat - how do you end up in these situations? How are
the little fluffers doing? Have they moved to their new home yet? JoJo "Sherry " wrote in message ... Is there any way you could "show" her the kittens, and see how she reacts? Unfortunately no. Best of luck with the cat - how do you end up in these situations?
I end up in these situations I think for 2 reasons. One is, the turnoff to my drive is between two lake roads. Lakes are prime dumping grounds for animals. Second is, my picture has been in the paper with cats on various shelter stories, so people know I'm affiliated with the shelter. The shelter itself is 20 miles from where I live, so I figure people are just too lazy to take them there and figure I'll deal with them. Grrr. How are the little fluffers doing? Have they moved to their new home yet? JoJo The little fluffers are doing marvelously. They are healthy, flea-free and running around the house like little hellions. Bootsie hates them, Yoda ignores them, and Frank thinks he's their Mama. Still ahve them here. Sherry |
