Default Ashes

we went and collected Scooters ashes from the vet today. They are in a
beautiful carved looking box with a gold name plate. What was interesting
is enclosed with them was a "rainbow stone". It is like half a rock, clear
plastic with etchings in the bottom that throw rainbow colors. Need to find
someone who makes jewelry now so can have it made into a necklace. The
cloth bag covering said "Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge" this
with a card with a version of The Rainbow Bridge written on it. So long as
I concentrate on these things can try and not think of this sad part.
But...that isn't working!

I'm crying at work. When I get home I will tell Bear what a good and
beautiful boy he is. After that, I will get in touch with Wascal, so
that those who might be interested can find out what happened on the
great nip rescue.

Purrs, headbumps, tailwags and idiotic parrot comments headed your
way.

The box sounds beautiful, as does the rainbow stone. We're sending
purrrrs that happy memories of Scooter will help fill that aching hole
in your heart.
Gabrielle, wishing they could live forever
