Default Trubute to Ayla, House of Clark

Marissa, sophisticated older tabby, slowly steps forward and speaks:

Ayla was Meowmie and Paw's first permanent Out kitty. She was brought
by her friend and sometimes-resident Out cat, Murry. She was very
pregnant and he brought her to our yard and installed her in his cozy
little house.

Meowmie and Paw loved her from the first. Paw was with her the night
that she had her kittens and she let Paw pick them up and clean them.
She understood when they found homes for all her children and when they
took her to TED for The Big Snip. She saw all the rest of us arrive.
She told us The Rules and told us how lucky we were to find this place.
Everyone acknowledged her as The Leader. She always came out to greet
Meowmie when she came home from work. She sat outside the screen door
and talked to Paw at night.

She lived here for fourteen years, never sick a single day. It was was
a shock to us all when she left for the RB so suddenly, but it was in a
place she loved, surrounded by all her friends. She will be in all our
hearts, until we gather around her at the RB, our little group together
again. Thank you.

Thank you, Mietze. We always wondered what happened to Murry. One
time one of the Ayla's kittens ran off and Murry ran after him and led
him back to the porch! We were all amazed--wonderful, clever Murry!

Thank you Lily! I try to fill Ayla's pawprints, but we all know what
to do and indeed have Meowmie and Paw completely trained.

That was a well spoken tribute Marissa. Ayla was fortunate indeed that
Murray brought her to youze family and fortunate that youze family loved her
so much and kept her safe and warm.

The trip to the Bridge is never a gud one for the hoomin's hearts and for
those left behind, theyze hearts will always hurt ... but it is gud to know,
that youze will all be together again one day.
