Great photos, and I enjoyed your captions - especially the one that
says, "I looked up, don't expect me to smile." That's exactly what her
expression looks like!

I'm confused about one thing - in your other post, you told the story
of getting a kitten at age 12, who was the runt of the litter, neglected
by her mom and a bit sickly. Was that Maverik, or a different cat?

Physically she's a typical mid-atlantic barn cat. You see cats on the
side of the road from Pennsylvania to Virgina that look about like her
clone. She's a tiny cat, even at her heaviest in these pictures only
about 7 pounds.

Her personality and intelligence would take longer to explain than I
could now. Breifly she was a mighty and ferocious hunter with about a
square mile of prime woodland territory, and she maintained a family
house on the side. Not the sort of cat most people would want to open
thier homes to, but in my eyes she is about perfect. I'll try to post
her stories here as I can. It's about her, the wonderful ways of a true
feral who also kept a home.

Oh yeah, Maverik was the sick little runt. She's been my only cat friend.

Well, she's turned into a beautiful grown-up cat!
