Default the wind-up mouse

Today we bought a wind-up mouse for the cats - and got the following
reactions to it:

Max pursued it all over the house - bopping and batting it around, and
trying to bite its spinning tail.

Pea watched from a safe distance, and gave it a few cautious sniffs only
after it had stopped moving.

Emily ran from the room and hid.

Guess we know who the hunter is in this house.

LOL.....we got Gizmo one of those a few years ago and she chewed its head
off before it started moving.

What does that say about her personality?

LOL! My Mum gave the cats a wind-up mouse for Xmas the other year. The mouse
goes straight for a bit, then it stops and turns in a circle, then it goes
in another direction, and so on. The cats are very interested and will sit
staring at it, but they don't really chase it.
