Default Turbo Scratcher for the clowder

We got our guys this:

http://www.thecatconnection.com/Turbo-Scratcher.html

for Kuamani and Tyche's adoption day (today, Lammas, August 1) and
Smokey's adoption day (August 10). So far, all three have been playing
with it, particularly with the ball in the track. Even Smokey is doing
his darndest to kill that ball (often kicking himself in the head in
his attempts).

They aren't too interested in the scratching pad, since they like their
big vertical trees better, but that ball in the track is pretty great
and doesn't get stuck under the fridge or couch.

I'm surprised that Smokey likes it as much as the bits. It takes a lot
to coax him off the couch.

Nocturne is, of course, ignoring it. It's beneath her dignity

Next step is to take some dried high quality catnip. Rub it between your
fingers as you sprinkle it into the scratching pad.

Turbo Scratcher is the best toy ever. Mine just love theirs. But, you
know what, I bought them one of those new ones, identical to the old
one except the ball flashes with lights (motion-activated.). They
didn't like it. They still play with the old one.
