Hey! Vino's been like that too! But I know what's wrong, it's that Dennis
is away. Vino has to have a certain amount of affection each day. Not a
minute less and not a minute more. When both me and Dennis are here, he
gets above the threshold and has had enough. He goes off and sleeps in a
corner somewhere by himself. But when Dennis is gone, he doesn't seem to
get quite enough affection from just me alone. So he turns into velcro cat.
It is very adorable, but kind of sad to see him acting so slutty ;-)
Yesterday afternoon, I was lifting weights in our workout room. Vino always
demands to be let in, but soon decides that it's too cold (aircon on full
blast) and starts scratching the door to be let out again. But yesterday,
he was unusually persistent in staying. So I was lying on my back on the
weight bench, doing some lying dumbbell french presses, when all of a
sudden...OUCH!!! 12 lbs of cat with pointy feet lands right on my boobs.
He looked at me quizzically when I screamed in pain, then his little head
came closer and closer to my face and he began purring and headbutting like
crazy. What a little goof. Of course I couldn't stay mad, even though I
had sore boobs and cat hair stuck all over my sweaty face.

Even Soncek, who is normally very stand-offish, is a bit more cuddly now
that it's colder. So hopefully there's nothing wrong with Waffles.

Be grateful you aren't built like a helium balloon. You could have flown round
the room, deflating all the while to most unladylike raspberry sounds. We'd
never have heard from you again.

I have a very soft fleece blankie that I use to cover myself and then (and
only then) Soncek comes and lies on my tummy on top of the blankie.
