Cutie Pie!

I went to Persia's vet today to pick up a bag of her r/x food. There was
the cutest little black kitten hunkered down on top of a covered litter box
in a large (multi-level) cage in the waiting room. He had gorgeous
ice-green eyes and medium-long fur. (He recoiled a bit when someone walked
in ahead of me with a very large Rottweiler.)

I stuck my fingers into the cage and said "hi!" He started batting at me
with big soft paws. From the size of those paws this little guy isn't going
to stay little for long! I'd guess he's about 2 months old. If Persia
didn't have hissy fits at the mere sight of another cat I'd have been mighty
tempted to bring him home with me.

I noticed there weren't any toys in the cage. I have to go back to town
next week. I'm going to take a spare LOL soft glitter ball and a furry
rattly mousie for him to play with. Of course, I do hope he's found a
forever home by then. But if not at least he can have a couple of toys
