We're in the Midwest, in Illinois even, but our landlord was really clear
that we can't take in any more cats than we have now. Otherwise we'd have
one of our humans driving south right now.

If anyone else within 150 miles or so can help out, my humans can provide
transportation.

I honestly am thinking that since they are there under emergency
circumstances, their insurance agent needs to get his butt in gear
ASAP and find them a suitable place to live, OR an exception should be
made. Why the frick are they raising this issue after months of them
living there and causing them additional stress? I think their
insurance agent needs to start coming up with some solutions pronto.

Meanwhile I sent an email to someone else who has a list of emergency
addresses asking if help is possible.
