Itz Awlmost Jamaica!
After a lovely afternoon relaxing on the deck,
Anaïs catelite phone rings: "REally! You'll join us fur cocktails and dinner! Wonderful!" Anaïs finds Stevenson, who announces on the ship's PA: "Meow kitties! Cocktails are served in the bar, dinner to follow! Relaxed dress for tonight!" In a few minutes, she is seated at the bar with Trudi when a porter twinkles. Out steps RastaCatJohn, and his son, Miles; both are wearing colorful Hawaiian shirts and have colorful beads in their dredlocks. Meow, ladies! Why so glum, mon? Barcat! A round of Planter's Punch for everycat! We'll be in Jamaica in the morning! He and Miles start to sing, then grab the two girl-catsand calls to al the cats: "C'mon mon! Lets drink and dance and sing!" They start a line dance, and the two Jamaican cats lead, as everycat joins in: Forget your troubles c'mon get happy, you better chase all your cares away. Shout hallelujah! C'mon get happy, get ready for the judgement day. The sun is shinin' c'mon get happy, the Lord is waitin' to take your hand. Shout hallelujah! C'mon get happy, we're going to the promised land! -- All my Purrs, Mme. Anaïs “I love cats because I take pleasure in my home; and little by little, the cats become its visible soul.†Jean Cocteau, 1889-1963 3/12/2011 10:49:30 PM |
