There are channel splits going on, some ppl drop off the chat and
re-emerge after a while. I believe you experienced that as you just came
and went again.

I just logged off, and it really was a nice chat. Strange feeling to talk
live to people you usually see on the newsgroup. Hope we can do more of
this!

The cats didn't like it much, though. They thought that I should spend more
time on them instead of the keyboard...

Ack, I was too tired from all the unpacking. Also, the first few nights
I slept, or rather, didn't get much sleep, on a pile of blankets and
pillows on the floor, but on Friday my new mattress arrived (the bed
comes later), and sleeping on it is just utter bliss! So I couldn't
resist it and went to bed. Wish I could have been there, though.

The channel is still open and available, any time. We did have a number of
channel splits in the middle of talking which is annoying but also led to
some wild speculation as to what the other folks were doing while out there
in cyberspace separated from the rest of us!

I need a new mattress!

Volker & I were there too:-)) It was quite exciting. When the channel was
not that full, I even could have some conversation. That was before the
official chat-time:-) There were a lot of people early. For us in Germany
as for Christine in Finland, it was in the middle of the night:-)) And when
the channel filled with all those people, I was happy to follow the
conversation reading only *g*

All in all it was fun and it was worth it to stay up that late:-))
