Default something is wrong with Sasha

Sasha was diagnosed with CRF in January and has been doing fabulous on
subq's since then she gets them everyday or I may skip a day to give
her a break if I see she is feeling good. She gets a diet of science
diet k/d wet and dry. The past couple days I noticed her not eating as
much (she does't eat much anyway) and she was feeling a little down so
I took her in yesterday for an exam and bloodwork. Bloodwork was
beautiful. everything was normal ranges and her BUN was down to a
record 50. He also gave her 200ml of fluids. Vet said she was a little
backup so he cleaned out her colon and she came home and ate some dry
and ten around 11pm I gave her some wet and she ate a decent amount of
that. I chalked it up to her not feeling good to her colon being full
and we all know how that can make us feel. She seemed to be feeling
fine. Since I got up today she will not eat any breakfast. She is
hanging her head and will barely move. I tried to hold her and she
settled on me for a moment then she howled out a complaint and got off
me and laid in a strange position and has been there since. I don't
know what could be wrong. Dr said he felt her liver was a little
enlarged but that may or may not be the problem. Thinking of taking
her back in today for an x ray but not sure if I should wait and she
if she perks up. I don't know. help.

I want to give feedback but I feel like there isn't enough information:

Is Sasha pooping? (You mentioned she ate but you didn't mention if she
voided it.)

The liver enlargement is a bit worrisome. When cat's don't eat it
affects their liver, but from your description it doesn't sound like
she didn't eat for a long enough time for this to happen, but I don't
know.

If she isn't pooping I would worry about an intenstinal obstruction.

I'd definitely take her back to the vet, or to a different vet--or even
to an emergency vet if you have one nearby and can afford it (since
they often have specialists on hand and up-to-date equipment.

Definitely I'd listen to your cat. Animals usually mask their symptoms
pretty well so if you can TELL something is wrong, chances are
something is that is bigger than her capability of masking it.

My comments aren't much help. But honestly, you need to be persistant
about the vet. Get another one if you don't get somewhere with this
one. I knew someone who kept telling one vet that her cat had swallowed
something and that vet kept poo-pooing it and it took another vet to
see the object she had swallowed in the x-ray. And that was after the
cat's kidneys had begun to fail from dehydration. So vets do miss
things sometimes.

Good luck.

It doesn't sound like you should wait. There's been quite a change
since yesterday. Get to a vet as soon as possible.

i dunno. I've done some reading on CRF cats and something tells me she
just has an upset, acidy stomach. They have never prescribed any
antiacid for her before and alot of the reading says its common for
cats to be on pepcid or something similar. i really love her usual vet
but his appointments were full yesterday when I called to get her in
so i saw his partner who I've never dealt with before. Her breath is
stinkier than normal and she is licking her lips a lot. He did check
her mouth for ulcers and there were none. Also he wasn't so concerned
with ulcers so much because her BUN was at an all time low of 50.
Right now she is chilling in the same spot shes been in all day on the
couch.

What were her potassium levels? Low potassium will cause weak neck
muscles and a hanging head.
