anyone know anything that will help my allergies besides ace promazine
and regular cleanings.

Claritin. It is all I need and I live with two cats. Buy the generic, it is
called Loratidine and is a fraction of the cost. (Claritin runs around
a dollar a pill, but Walmart sells Loratidine 30 for less than three
dollars.
Kroger also carries Loratidine. You need the adult dosage, 10 mgs.
You just take one a day.)

Also, (and you likely know this) taking a shower when your allergies are
bothering you provides some relief.
