Default Recall - lab tests show melamine in unrecalled food

The best advice is to still stay away from wheat gluten in any pet food.
Three Nutro cat varieties not on recall list found to contain melamine in
private lab test. What this really means is anyone's guess, as no one is
really sure if melamine is actually doing anything (due to lack of studies
in cats/dogs) or a marker of an unknown substance, or if melamine is
everywhere......

NUTRA MAX CAT GOURMET CLASSICS
The following three 3-ounce varieties tested positive for melamine by UC
Davis:
- Chicken Cacciatore, UPC 79105352055
- California Chicken Supreme, UPC 79105300117
- Lamb & Turkey Cutlets, UPC 79105300148

I found this interesting!:

http://www.itchmo.com/read/menu-food...ecall_20070410

Menu Foods CFO Sold His Shares Weeks Before Recall
Menu Foods CFO sold almost half of his Menu Foods shares after the
initial customer complaints. And calls a "horrible coincidence".
Something stinks. Does he want Martha Stewart's number?

The chief financial officer of Menu Foods Income Fund says it's a
"horrible coincidence" that he sold nearly half his units in the
troubled pet food maker less than three weeks before a massive recall
of tainted pet food.

Thanks for the tip SMichelle.
