Where's Buffy?
When Buffy isn't curled up next to me, she has her regular snooze spots.
Yesterday evening, however, I couldn't find her anywhere. I checked the bedroom closet even though I keep the door closed. I checked the bathtub because she's been known to leap out from behind the shower curtain and surprise me. :) No Buffy. She wasn't snoozing on a chair under the dining room table (there's a table cloth so it's kind of like a "fort"). I even looked under my bed, even though she hasn't hidden under there (that I know of) since the first day I brought her home. It finally occurred to me to check the guest bedroom. There she was, snoozing on the bed. This might not sound odd to you, but it is. In the two years since I brought her home she has never shown the slightest interest in that bedroom or that bed. I guess she figured it was time to shake things up a bit. :) Jill |

Mostly they're creatures of habit, but sometimes they just do things for no other apparent purpose than to provoke a reaction from us. Maybe Buffy decided that the bed was suddenly more comfortable than she had realized. |

I was very surprised when I found her napping in there. I can tell you this, she hasn't gone in there since. Might take her another two years before she deigns to snooze on that bed again. :) Jill |
