Cats lethargic after shots?

The cats have now resumed their normal eating and drinking schedule. We came
back from work, they devoured a can of salmon, they drank, and they are
graciously allowing us once again to scratch their heads. The whole episode
lasted about 30 hours after they got their shots.

Crisis over, I guess until the next rabies shot next year.

Thanks to everyone for your kind advice and assistance.

Jay

I'm so very glad to hear it, we can't help worrying when our babies seem
unwell.

In most areas, rabies shots are only required every three years. I
don't give my two ANY shots any more. Amber is 17 and Tiger is 12.
They are both strictly indoor cats and the shots lay them low for a
couple of days.

True. In some areas it's 3 years for rabies. In NY and NJ it's one year.
Distemper is 3 years.

Our cats are strictly indoor too, and they were laid low, as you say, for
about a day and a half.
