Default cat pathways near the ceiling

I posted a few pictures of carpeted eight-foot boards (1x4s or 2x4s
will do). They are placed about 6 feet high going in three different
directions. One goes to some large windows and another goes over my
computer area (the third goes elsewhere). Boards can be leaned up
against the other boards, or placed whatever other way, to get them
up and down from the high boards. Sorry, but the stairway part isn't
shown.

Subject: cat gym

The pictures of my new stray were not staged, he's very energetic
and he is using the gym very actively after only one week of
captivity. I'm thrilled. Sometimes it can take weeks or longer.
Putting food up there helps.

To make the cat gym... I used an electric staple gun, some padded
carpet, and some boards. The reason for the electric staple gun is
because it's so very easy compared to other methods. There might be
some risk of catching a claw, but I haven't seen their claws near
the staples yet. The carpet might be hazardous in the long run
because of flame retardant materials allegedly causing
hyperthyroidism, but oh well. The fact that making the climbing
objects for a large cat jungle gym is so easy means kitties are more
likely to get a whole lot of indoor fun and exercise.

Bungee cords are useful (so far) for securing the boards to each
other. Shelf brackets and maybe wood screws can be used for wall
connections. For temporarily keeping a styrofoam food plate in place
you can use inverted packaging tape wrapped around the board. That's
neat and sanitary IMO since the tape can be very easily removed and
thrown away carrying any debris with it.

Have fun.

Although I think I know what you meant, be careful saying stuff like
"oh well" in regards to a cat's health. You'll surely meet with the
disgust of the cat worshippers.

OK, I LOVE to build but CANNOT do so without the aid of a
professional and my talented 3D software skills.

Could you post more pictures please?

Is it small enough that you can take at few pictures showing the
entire setup?

Where did you put it in your home?

You did all this for a stray? Wow.

What is your cat's name?

Thanks. Making useful stuff is fun. The center post is the critical
part and it was already done for my computer area.

I'm glad you were able to see them.

We call pictures/videos, music, and programs "binaries". We can only
post pictures and stuff to groups that contain the word "binaries".
That's why we don't post pictures here.

So-called "binary groups" are carried by most Internet Service
Providers for their subscribers, and carried by standalone premium
news servers for those of us who want more/better binary service.

Looks like a great idea ...

Thanks.
Good luck and have fun.

Default Mark Bender, aka John Doe revealed

Mark Bender using the alias John Doe pretends he is a cat lover. The
people in his impoverished neighborhood have accused him of setting
leg traps for cats. As he has no other visible means of support he
sells these poor darlngs to be used as bait to train Pit Bulls.

Disgusting. See Mark Bender's dossier and arrest record.

Dossier

REQUEST OF CLIENT

On July 24, 2007, Martin Markoe with eMicrophones, Inc. contacted
XXXX
& Associates, with the request for a full background/dossier on Mr.
Mark O. Bender.

SUMMARY OF INVESTIGATION

Our office found Mr. Mark Bender's current address is 509 Frost, SATX
78201, to be owned by Ms. Gloria Trevino. There are many rental homes
in this area. Mr. Bender has never owned property. He does not own a
vehicle. He doesn't have a TX Driver's license. He does have a TX
State ID. He has been arrested twice for Assault/Family/Domestic
Violence. Both charges were dismissed. There is a possibility that
the
"Mark Bender" named in the Bexar County Civil case for damages could
be the same Mark Orrin Bender with in this report. The court
documents
would to be ordered at any additional cost to the client.
